Envious Ms (emms not MS) stands for envious Malays...Envy? Jealousy? Hatred towards another soul? They actually have similar meanings.. which in simple words dislike towards another party or JEALOUS..
This is something i noticed that is common in our race these days.
Don't believe me.. ok.. let's hold on for one second.. stop whatever you are doing and think for a moment..
who envy you the most? be it friends? cousins? co-workers? stalkers? strangers? what race are they actually? for me i'd say they are malays. why??
To me, Malays are the type of people who can't accept that someone is better than them. Actually, that is a good trait that a person should have, however, we malays misused such traits. Usually people who can't accept defeat or beaten by others tends to get motivated and work harder to beat them healthily and competitively. For malays on the other hand, they tend to bring that person down no matter what it takes.
haha.. weird huh...
too bold you say? no,i'm not accusing my race as such, but it's reality.. not only once that i've been through in such situations but more than once. That's why i have a lot of guts to say as such about my own race. I'm tired of seeing us kill each other. Bringing on another down while others watch an enjoy the show. Beat the shit out of each other while others laugh. Why do this to your own people? your race? I've been through all this, i've experienced it and lived through it no matter how many times being brought to the ground. see for yourslef and you tell me whether i'm right or wrong...
Heres the story.
First Case: Doing business... Of all other things i listed this as first in purpose. Not because i'm business minded or anything. It's because it's the most obvious thing. Let me elaborate that for you.
A malay owner opens a western shop in a shop lot, at the end of the shop lot is another shop owned by another malay. However, the shop specializes on thailand food (tom-yam to be specific). Here comes the complicated part, upon opening the western shop, the owner often stumbles upon problems with flies swarming in the restaurant every day at every hour. Not because of dirtiness or not hygienic premises, it's a new shop for god's sake. Later, after consulting a few specialists ( bomoh & ustaz) , it was proven that it was sent by the owner of the tom yam shop on purpose( black magic stuffs). I mean come on, it's wrong in every angle.. Both restaurant serves different types of menu. Have different target market. What is there to fight for? What hurts most is that both of you are of the same fucking race!! Why should we fight one another when other races can open a restaurant side by side and support each other consequently making both of the owners rich.. Why can't we malays do that??!!
Second case: Friends.. I noticed this happens most in our society. In my case, my friend is jealous of my life. Studies, lifestyle, girls, you name it. Heres the thing, when someone is better than you,try to be better than them. I grew up in a 1MALAYSIA environment even when it was not even labelled as such. My friends were mostly Chinese and Indians. But after schooling ended, most of my friends are malays. Wanna hear an awful statement? My friends which are not of my race are better than my MALAY friends. Well not all.. mostly though. They don't envy me. even if they do they compete healthily. Positively. Not stabbing your friends back. I dare say they even would die for me in a fight as i would for them. Haih.. Why do friends of other race are more supportive than your own race? they don't have the same religion. they don't have the same lifestyle.. they don't even have similar names like us!!! Why do my friends of the same race try to bring me down. Envy me so much that they'd try to ruin my life. Ruin everything when they should actually be proud and happy of their own kind.HMMM... Wake up people, i can see this because i've been through it. It's no harm if you work together and succeed can it?
Third case: Education/ Organization... Ever noticed a person with good potential or skills being put down or seized? Especially in a malay working/studying environment? I've seen it. It's not that the person don't have any skills,it's not because he is a jerk, but mostly because he is way better than fellow members of a certain society. I am speaking of organizational hierarchy here. A person with good PR skills, confidence, traits of leaders which can lead people to success is shut out just because he is more outstanding than others. Instead, they would rather as a dummy or a person who doesn't want such responsibilty, don't know, no manners and traits of a leader to lead them. weird huh? This is a typical MALAY culture in some Malay-dominated Universities in Malaysia. In other races, they want the best leaders for any of their society. they want someone who can really lead. who have all the potentials so that they can also be succesful, but not us. Not these complacent MALAYS. No wonder we don't achieve many outstanding awards or achievements. All due to some weird jealousy sickness. Hahaha.. Sometimes i say to myself,Malays are funny. (considering i'm a malay myself) :p
I guess i'll only elaborate three cases as that would be sufficient enough to make you sit down and think for yourself. Sorry if any of you readers feel offended. But to me, facts are important to make people realize. And don't think i do this because i don't feel like i'm a malay or anything. NO. I SAY ALL THIS BECAUSE I LOVE MY RACE,I'M PROUD TO BE A MELAYU AND I WANT ALL MY PRIDE TO AT LEAST BE WORTH SHOWING OFF. it means that i don't only say that malay good, but actually makes all of the malays prove it to others. A piece of advice for people who are of the envious and jealous towards your own race... Use it for the better future, and not for revenge or personal satisfaction. No harm in admitting someone is better that us. In fact, it slowly makes us even better than the person we look up to. :)
